How to Talk About Sex & Compatibility (Masculine) | Dating Skills Workshop

How to Talk About Sex & Compatibility (Without It Being Awkward). A live virtual Dating skills workshop with a human sexuality professor.

This workshop is for masculine presenting singles as topics will be tailored for your community.

Content will stay grounded in communication and emotional intelligence (not explicit content), with an emphasis on reducing awkwardness and helping people feel more confident navigating these conversations in real life.

This portion could focus on giving people actual language and tools to:

  • Set boundaries clearly and confidently

  • Express interest without pressure

  • Ask about expectations and alignment

Meet Serena Van Orman

Serena Van Orman is a sexuality educator, adjunct professor, and PhD student in human sexuality — and she's tired of sex ed that leaves everyone more confused and more ashamed than when they started. With experience in classroom and community education, workshops, and personalized consulting, she has spent years giving people something most of them never got: honest, accurate, actually useful information about their own sexuality. Her work is built on a truth most people weren't taught: we are sexual beings, and that's not something to be managed, minimized, or apologized for. What you want and how to get it aren't the same lesson — and for most people, neither was ever taught. Serena changes that with evidence, humor, and zero shame, helping people stop shrinking from their sexuality and start celebrating it.
