What was your first date after meeting at the event?
We went to Thieves in Broad Ripple and then Kilroy's right after. We spent nearly 6 hours together, enjoying each other's company. The staff at Thieves even commented on how cute we looked together on what was clearly a first date going very well.
Tell us about your love story!
“Elissa gave me her number after I was pitched on-stage - that boldness can work well for anybody! We have discovered so much in common, yet our differences complement each other in meaningful ways. We both truly feel seen with one another. And it may never have happened without Alex standing on stage for four (semi-awkward) minutes to be pitched.”
Why would you recommend in person events to others looking for love?
“After so much time trying to find something meaningful in digital spaces, the in-person events offered such a breath of fresh air. It took both of us a few tries, but seeing a spark flash between you means so much more than waiting for another text to come through. It can be scary, but nothing beats live!”
