What was your first date after meeting at the event?
We met at Niyyah Coffee on the Nickel Plate to grab a coffee & tea and then we walked to the swings in downtown Fishers and sat talking for an hour and a half and then grabbed dinner at Cava! The date ended up lasting over 4 hours! Even though it was only our first date, we use that date as our anniversary because we both knew before the date was over that we could see the other person as our long-term partner!
Tell us about your love story!
“We share a lot of common interests but we also have interests that differ a lot from each other! Our favorite things to do together are the everyday things that most people would find mundane and boring.
Going to the grocery store and then coming home to cook a delicious meal is probably one of our favorite things to do together.
When you’re not in a relationship doing the grocery shopping & cooking a meal can feel so lonely & boring but when you can do it with your partner it is one of the best ways to spend really good quality time together!”
Why would you recommend in person events to others looking for love?
“Meeting a stranger for the first time in person gives you the chance to really see them and not what you’ve seen on their dating profile! You really have to keep your mind open which is hard to do when you’re seeing photos/reading about a person on their dating profile and making your own opinions before you actually get to talk to them in person!”
